| How to Commission a Portrait |
|---|
|
You can supply a photograph or a traditional print (as big as possible) or you could send a CD or even an e-mail for approval. Once I have approved your photograph, we can discuss your portrait requirements, ie size, frame (optional), style (head study), background (optional), name of horse on mount (optional), alterations if required, ie removing bridle or head collar, date required (only if applicable). A good, clear photograph of the horses head is required, taken without flash, in natural light, but not in direct sunlight wherever possible. It should be in a high resolution, taken close enough to fill the view finder. Take as many photographs as is possible. Photographs will be returned safely. |
